Fair is FAIR!!

Monday the 9th Jason took us to the fair along with my Sis, her girl and my Momma. We had so much fun! Even though everything gets more expensive with each passing year we were able to get a great deal on the all you can ride wrist bands, they were only $12.50 each..considering with the 3 older kids it was any where from $9.00 to $12.00 a ride. It was great! We spent alteast $70.00 on food alone..good thing the kids were free to get in and us adults were $6.00 each. I really shouldn't complain, it's only once a year!

These were the only animals that we went to look at, they stunk so bad, I walked through the pig pens with my face buried in my shirt.

I had to take the picture of the sign, read it carefully at first you might not catch it, I think that they had room on the sign for the I and the two L's don't you think? This second pic was just because both Jason's were drooling over it...It had racing tires and could go super fast!

Ahh, my two favorite things at the fair. The first, big Yellow slide ( which is up to $2.00 a rider, it goes up a quarter every year, I love this ride so much that even when I was pregnant with Tyler last year I went any way. Plus this is the only ride my Dad would let us go on growing up as kids..ahh memory's ) from left to right..Tami, Me, Little J, Big J, maddie and then Paiton. Second, funnel cake..ya I know I could make this at home but it's always better at the fair, Funnel cakes are one of my favorite deserts.

Of course we purchased the wrist bands after we did the pony ride. They included two pony rides with each wrist band..gees! Yeehaw!

They had special tigers, I think from India? They were neat but we didn't wait for the show, kids were fascinated with them.

We went over to the helping hands farm, I have always wanted to take the kids to this area but have always been too late to walk thru it closes at 8:00PM. It took them through a little farm and taught them to plant and crop and take milk from the cow and wool from the sheep and pick from the orchard and then take it to town on their tractor and get money for what they did. All after graduating from the FFA, then they bought a treat with the $1.00 vouture they gave them for selling to their local grocer. It was cute and they loved it.

It took a while to convince these knuckle heads to go thru the Haunted House all by them selves, it was so funny to hear them scream and then they said they were never going on that ride again!

Tyler was very well behaved while the older kids enjoyed all the fun rides

Notice Jason thinking he needs to pull faces?
Look the apple has a bum...better than a worm..hehhehhhe!
I had to share these pics too..The kids weren't the only ones that enjoyed themselves.
I already can't wait to go next year!

You were supposed to take me to the fair this year - you or Aspen. I have never been. I guess I will forgive you because I was sick, but next year... :)
