One of the hatch doors
The Russian foxtrot-class submarine- code name " the Scorpion " was so neat to go in to. Jason and I only walked on the top floor and it was 3 stories. I can't imagine a crew of even 50 men on there all crammed in to a small space...and under all that Ocean.
I know that my butt wouldn't fit on this thing!! It was combined with the shower.
The cots, some where stacked three on top of each other. Very tight quarters, I could barely get in and out of them. Jason's legs hung off. I wonder what the height and weight requirements was? It's fine, I wouldn't want to go any way!!
No I didn't fall, I was trying to lay back so I can appear thinner :) It didn't work. My camera sucks!
The kitchen was smaller then a standard closet and your neck would kill I am sure because you would have to huntched over.
The ladders to go up and down, we weren't allowed :(
The captain's room, again, smaller then a closet.
Still blocked off from going down the ladder, no..I wouldn't be able to fit down the ladder.
FIRE the torpedo's!!I had a splendid time just the two of us getting away, it doesn't happen too often. I also don't get to experience the touristy things that often either. I will cherish our time always!!
