Good Day

So I have been in a little bit of a slump since the begining of the year. I guess it's from the following..Work not being so great, feeling like I am a bad Mommy and I just can't seem to get anything right, the weather. On one hand my relationship with my husband has never been so strong and on the other we wan't to strangle each other. I feel that I am going to have a nervous break down before I even turn 30. So getting to my point. I have decided..escpecially after such a bad week last week ( which I could realy write a whole novel on ) that this week will be better and I will repeat that statement every Monday and try not to get such bad anxiety when Sunday night rolls around because I dred the up coming week. It realy hasn't been so easy having Jason gone so much but I have to deal with it. So the following so far has been proven to me that this week will be better....Yes Monday was good, the full list of things to do at work was completed. We had a lovely Family Home Evening with the South's ( Which I will post at a later day ) and Jason decided to stay back a night before heading out of town. Then today which is just Tuesday..Went the following, I was on time to work even though I didn't get my tired butt out of bed until 45 minutes before needing to leave. I received flowers from a client of mine, as attached above. What a nice surprise. She said that she realy appreciates all that I do. I never get flowers. Then I got a very close, I mean a super close parking spot at the grocery store and got to go the store with only Tyler because my Momma kept the older two so I could get my Easter stuff done in advance even though I have been told that the Easter Bunny isn't real but I am about to change that! Then my Visiting Teacher's came to visit, which I realy enjoy..... No realy I do. So I am thinking that tomorrow at this rate will be even better. Maybe if I can stay positive and not sweat the small stuff it will have a positive effect on the ones around me.

Vote for Paiton!!!

This is from my Sister...

Hi friends and family,

I have entered Paiton into a singing contest
and I'm looking to get as many votes for her as possible. They'll be 2 winners and each will get to take a trip to one of the California Theme Parks. I would love to take her! It's a little bit of a pain because you have to sign up free on the website and then vote. There can only be one vote per computer. Website is http://www.971zht.com/, sign up and then go to the Kiddieokee contest and she's in the age group 5 to 7 and the #68 entry. You'll have to verify the vote through your email address. They'll stop taking votes on March 27th at Noon and then announce the winner the following day. If any of you would be so kind to take the time to vote we would greatly appreciate it! And also pass the word along! Thanks so much, Tami and Paiton

She want's to be on American Idol when she grows up.

That's not the Easter Bunny!!!

I forged to Fashion Place Mall with 3 kids on Wednesday night to pick up Paiton, my Neice a Build-A-Bear gift card for her birthday ( or as the kids would call it a bear credit card ) I also promised them a cheese stick from Hot dog on a stick....Then, me being the bright person I am thought to myself..hey shouldn't the Easter Bunny be here!!? so went on a search and there he was. At first Jason and Maddie were so excited, ran right up to him and Tyler was in a good drooling mood so I placed them up there with the Bunny and as I went to get out of the way, Jason threw his arms out and yelled I DON"T WANT TO DO THIS ANY MORE and proceeded to cry in shear terror and leaped off of the Bunny's lap and I said what is wrong? I knew what was wrong..Jason could see the person's eyes thru the mouth and freaked!! This is why you see me in the picture...that was the only way I was going to get this done. Jason kept looking and analyzing it's every move. I was realy pleased with the way the picture turned out, even though the back drop was LAME! Here is the part that I can't forget that keeps me laughing and this is why I knew Jason was so upset. Okay so as I went to pay for an expensive picture. He told me in a very stern voice that, that was not the real Easter Bunny it was just a guy in a Bunny costume. I tried my best not to burst out laughing and the cashier kept her composure as well..he was dead serious..still looking back to make sure he wasn't coming towards us. Even Maddie told me that it was just some one in a costume..So the jig is up. Then on our way home the kids asked when are we going to go see the REAL Easter Bunny? I still can't stop laughing!!

Our Annual Vegas Couples Only Weekend

So every year for the past five years ( I can't believe we have been doing this for this long so far ) we get together with some of our friends for a couples only weekend. We have some property in Beaver Dam Arizona, which is 9 miles this side of mesquite. Only 90 miles from Vegas and 22 miles from St. George. We absolutely love it there. This year we had to make an acception to the couples only thing because we had two ladies with a babies and one lady pregnant. We still had a realy good time. I arrived first Thursday night..I had to meet Jason down there because he was in Los Angeles that week for work. When I had arrived my Momma had laid out artificial rose petals and candies and strung heart garland on the beds in the house..She was down there the weekend before with my Grand Parents. What a fun little surprise, she is always doing something like this. She is GREAT! Friday Dustin and Darlene left home at 4:30 in the morning to meet us and then later we met Jared and Aspen in St. George later that afternoon. We had a late lunch or what you call an early dinner for all of the retiree's that live down there at Chuck A Rama. I swear we were the only young people there and had the only babies in the whole place. After our early dinner us ladies were ditched by the guys which was just fine. We went to the mall. I haven't been to the mall in I don't know how long? Then we mwt back up with the guys at the house and instead of staying up late like we have in the past we turned in early..Maybe we are getting old? Saturday we loaded up in Jared and Aspen's cruiser ( VAN ) we had fun cramming into the speedy thing. We went to lunch at the buffet in the Orlean's hotel and casino. ( Jason and I happened to stumble upon this place a year or so ago and have tried to make it there when we can. )
The food was great as usual, they have 7 different food stations, you know mexican, chinese, american, etc.

Later we drove over to the Hoover Dam.
Something that we hadn't done before.
It was a little windy but a nice bright day..no smog.
They have been working on bridge to go over the Dam
for I think 3 years now. We saw the start of it on Modern Marvels...
It is quite spectacular, the bridge and the Dam.
I think they say that some of the concrete has actually never dried all the way.
We would have done the tour but the babies were not allowed.

This is Dustin and Darlene.
This was their Second time joining us this year.
We didn't think that they were going to make it.
We are glad that they took time out from the all
the hussle and bussle and joined us. I know that
they enjoyed themselves.

I had to get a picture of them leaning over the
edge looking down. I am not fond of heights so
I stayed back a bit until I could get a little more
comfortable with my surroundings. It is quite a
long ways down.

I am sure we will go back to visit the Hoover Dam next year, I would be interested in seeing the progress of the bridge and maybe if I can get the guts, we will do a helicopter ride over the Dam?

Tyler was a pretty good sport about being lugged around.
He is the only kid that we have taken to couples only weekend. I hope he remembers the good time we had. He seemed so big in that stroller...we had to prop him up so he could look around at everything. He and Brynlie had fun staring at eachother and making noise together.

After the Dam, we drove back into Vegas and did our
normal routine of the New York New York so the guys
could do the roller coaster and we wondered on down to
the M&M factory to get the kiddies who were left back
home a prize, which I am not allowed to come back home
with out a bright yellow bag with goodies in it. I tried to hide
in there for a while but was hunted down so we could move
on to the Mandalay Bay to the Shark reef. It was realy neat.
The setting is some what like a jungle, it was dark, it had glass
tunels that you walk thru so you are surrounded by water and
at the end you come to a sunken ship atmosphere with eerie boat
sounds.
Our last stop before heading back to the house was to do the
nascar roller coaster at the Saraha. I opted not to go because
I was a woosie..what I couldn't leave my baby.
( I did have a pregnant lady to dump him on. )
I have gone on it before and I tried to get Aspen to go to
but she woosed out just like I did. What happens is you just
sitting there waiting to see what happens and without any
warning you are at a speed of 60 0r 70 mph in a matter of
seconds and thrown thru a looped dee loop and a cork screw
and given another jolt of speed and then shot up on the track
staring at the stars to be dropped back down to do it all again
but only back wards...quite a thrill.

We arrived back to the house around 1 am and again the
oldness was set in and we headed off to bed. I think I can
speak for every one that again we had a realy good time
and even though we didn't do as much and had kids with
us atleast we got away. Which was definetly needed. I do
hope that the rest of our crew wich is about 6 other couples
will be able to join us next year.

I was wrong

So Mommy was determined that her third and final child was going to be a girl..I was going to name her Hailey...Boy was I wrong. I was right with my other children but I completly lost the bet on this one. At first I cried, struggled alot...then got to thinking, we have nothing but girls except for Little Jason. What a treat to have this little guy in our lives. He is truely a blessing. The Lord knew I needed him and so did Little Jason. It certainly threw me for a loop..Who couldn't love this face and those dimples!!! Maddie and Little Jason love him. I can't picture us with out him....Right now he is equaly a Momma's boy and a Daddy's boy but give it time and he will be all mine. When Tyler has been fussy for a while and I have fed him and changed him and put him in every different position to get him to stop and still won't stop Jason can come in and take him into his arms and he will calm right down and then the two of them will just hang out for a while. There is something about the smell of a hard worker and his deep voice that get's that Baby to calm down...Or just the smell of deisel fuel that makes him go into a trance? :)

Tyler was born on the 8th of December at 1:15 A.M. and only weighed in at 7lbs 7oz, he was short too only 20 1/2" long. He came a week earlier then scheduled and two weeks early from my actualy due date. He was realy meant to be. We had been trying since September in 2006 and then we decided to stop trying because no way I was going to have a November or a December Baby and then oops' we were positive. I had always discussed with Aspen in the past ( before convincing Jason to have another baby ) that I didn't care if I had a Baby on the 31st of December I just wanted to have one and that I could have a tax right off. I guess I blew it when I had joked about it. My first Doctor's visit was on my Dad's birthday and my family and I had discussed that it would be weird that after us trying for a while that my due date would end up on my Dad's D Day and sure enough when the Doctor came in and we calculated weeks. It was my due date, the 21st of December. I was touched. I knew that I wouldn't last that long but it was almost like a message from my Dad and that makes it even more special.
